manuscript editing prior to publication involves style
guide formatting and ethics guide editing. General
editorial remarks are also provided before publishing any
document. Manuscripts are edited twice by the editor, the
second time is after recommendations have been
implemented.

Consultation
Organic Press editors are highly
skilled professionals who provide telephone, e-mail and in-person
consultation to anyone who wishes to embark on a publishing journey
with us. The first hour of consultation is free for
contract-holders, otherwise consultation is priced here in the
ratings column. Consultants can also provide editing skills seminars
and workshops, please contact us if you
would like to arrange for someone to be in your area for a seminar.
E-mail Consultation
You may submit an electronic list of questions to
an editor using the My File application online. The editor then will
answer your questions in the My File application. Your payment is
made online through My File. We allow no more than 10 questions and
ask that you be fair and respect the editors who provide this
service online.

Telephone Consultation
You may speak with an editor online for up to one
hour. We suggest structuring this time by preparing questions in
advance and e-mailing them to the editor you are assigned to speak
with. This will ensure that your questions are answered in a timely
manner.

In-Person/On-site Consultation
Only available in TORONTO!
An editor can come and participate in a workplace
question/answer session, or provide on-site consultation. This may
also be helpful to meet an editor who may take on your publication
in the future.
